Training & Accreditation
Lucy is an IACP fully accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor. Lucy works with individuals online and face to face, nationally and internationally. She works with adults and adolescents and practices in accordance with the guidelines and Code of Ethics of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Lucy practices a humanistic and integrative approach and draws on different modalities and types of therapy based on best meeting the needs of each individual client. These approaches include Person-Centred therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic amongst others. Lucy will work with you to identify your personal strengths and values and create a collaborative environment to assist you on your personal growth and development.
In addition to working as a counsellor and psychotherapist Lucy has 20 years’ experience working as a nurse in the hospital and community setting. She feels this experience in addition to her counselling and psychotherapy training has helped her develop a compassionate, non-judgemental and understanding approach to her clients.
